Griot Recruit is looking for closely connected pairs (partners, close friends, siblings, parent–adult child) for a study on the lived experience of moving homes. Over five weeks, you’ll wear smart glasses during set times and complete short diaries. This study will help researchers from ReD Associates, a research consultancy, understand real moments and challenges during a move so they can design more supportive, privacy-respecting features for people during major life transitions.

Participation Includes

• One 6 hour interview between Dec 12 and Dec 19

• Wearing smart glasses for at least 4 hours a day, 4 days a week, including a quick 15-minute daily diary prompt from Dec 15 to Jan 26

• One 15 minute weekly phone call with the researcher-Being observed while they record for 2 days on the week of Jan 5 and 2 days on the week of Jan 19

• One 2 hour follow up interview during the week of Jan 26

We’re looking for participants to share how they plan, spend, and navigate everyday life using EBT. Your insights will help us understand what works, what gets in the way, and how systems can better support dignity and access.
